Stop trying to make ferrari's out of soap box's, they don't corner and they're crap at the lights, you'll only be hearing my 3000watt kwood set up or seeing the back of my 205 1.9 CTI on out of town roads. whats the point in going round town when cars like mine can do 135mph+ with no roof! get out on real roads and stop pi**ing people off in towns. Try having a 205 CTI on A or B roads and u'll see a real car!!!

Had a 1.3SR (1990) - Even though it was VERY reliable and quite nippy its never gonna be anywhere near as good as any of the French hot hatches (205GTI's, SAXO VTR or the 106). Changed it for a 106 Rallye 1.3 (1995) and even though it lack all the stuff like electric windows and central locking its still lights years ahead in both handling and speed. Good on the guys in Nova's kicking all the XR2's though keep up the good work! Let get one thing down here though NEW vauxhalls are shit not old ones!! I'm just going to take my proper car out (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 1 GSR).
ok this is for all you fiesta drivers that think you can do all sr nova's dont be so niave i have a 1.3sr it has a lot of engine work done and that stats are amazing 0-60 8.5secs (same as 2.0 8v gte astra 120mph topout it has skimmed and pollished head high lift cam twin choke webbers k&n air filter janspeed straight through performane exhuarst and i have really made a mockery of the XR2i XR3i so please guys learn about the product your cussing VAUXHALL NOVA'S ARE CHEAP SMALL FAST! AND LOOK OK TO I AGREE THEIRS BETTER OUT THEIR BUT FOR THE MONEY U WONT BEAT IT

Ive got a F reg 1.3sr nova which my dad has given me one owner from new 56k on the milage. Can leave most cars at the lights and once i get performance air filter and big back box will fly, may even consider twin weber carbs all I will say is its brill car for free. Just shame when u ring for insurance quote as soon as u mention sr they r rubbing their hands together.
god i hate novas, they r so ugly and why does everyone driving one wear caps?

novas are like a tin can on wheels, him who recons he got 105 out of his 1 litre is in dream land and needs 2 wake up.(it would shake to pieces mate),i would rather drive round in a A reg 1 litre mini which would be more reliable and safe. him who said that metro gti would eat all novas is right all novas are junk. All u lot that drive round in your novas are boy racer wannabe's your novas will never see 100kph never mind 105mph in a 1 litre what a joke hahaha rubish.ps good look with your pieces of rust.

Sorry Nova Bad Boys. I drive a, (don't laugh, a Nissan Sunny 1.6 12valve. It's bye bye at the lights to you boys in your Novas, as I do very often on my way to work. It just proves that the more crap you add on to your car, the slower it goes. I have nice 13" wheels with 155/13" tyres, no heavy alloys like I had on my last car. I have raced all my mates in their XR2s and their Novas etc, and the only one of them who can keep up is the one who has the Escort RST. See you in aylesbury if you don't belive me..................
