I took up my own suggestion after selling the Deauville, and got a well kept low mileage NTV for a third of the price. This bike is much better. It's a hundred pounds lighter, and everything is accessable. There are no fancy toys on it but you can tell it is Japanese built and everything reeks of quality. It handles and rides very nicely. This bike has the reputation of being bomb proof, and apparently really should have an extra number on the mileometer to measure the hundreds of thousands of miles it can do. It will do over 220 miles between fuel stops. The motor is very pleasant- it's no powerhouse but supplies steady urge right through the range and helps the bike cover lots of ground quickly. The only glitch is the clonky gearbox, but at least it is positive. The NTV is highly recommended if you want a proper motorcycle to ride instead of pose on.
