Ive had a DT 125 R for two months. ive fitted a full dep exhaust system, a turbo and a nitrous oxide system. it does over 150mph. it wheelies at 120mph after i hit the Nos. im thinking about fitting a hyabusa engine to it. because it aint fast enough.

Bought 90 DTR, fitted powervalve servo, really good fun, puts a grin on my face every time I ride it, I'm used to trailing a Suzuki DR385, this is so much lighter and easier to start, going to try some hare and hounds events on it !
Has anybody fitted a 2nd radiator to help with the cooling, have read about this in TBM and wondered if it works ?
I'm going to fit a Big one (Fresco) exhaust as I can't afford a DEP, has anbody any experince with one of these, are they louder than stock and do they give any power increase ?

I have had my DTR 125 for almost a month now, i live in the channel islands were the laws are very different. I am 16 and im a speed freak. My bike has had the reeds opened and the powervalve opened fully, so i still get a little power band and i can get almost 80 out of it, but the only problem with it is is needs a new CDI unit cos it is sluggish in bottom end. Does anybody have any lying about? please e-mail me if you have.

Why not try and buy some new components eg new barrel and piston, should be easier than locating an engine. As for the bike not starting peter, sounds daft ut have u put a new battery on it and checked any fuses?

Without messing about with oil/spring setting I think you are stuck with the diving forks, but thats the nature of the beast really, it's not a sports bike it's a "crosser". One thing I will recomend it a product called "UltraSeal", it's a punture repairing gloop that you put in your innertube but dont confuse it with "Slime" and all those other ones out there it's actually supposed to work as a permanant fix on tubless tyres & maybe a premanant fix on tubed tyres but thats not whats so good about it. It actually changes the way your bike rides it has some viration damping qualities that are really good, the bike seems much more controlled now & less twitchy. Have a look at their web site for more info but I think it's excellent stuff.

Hi again,
Tink mate, fitted a full DEP system at the same time as sorting out the POWER VALVE adjustment, so just need to take your advice and change main jet to ensure cool running and no melted pistons !!!
Thanks once again.
