I've operated a wholesale business in Australia for the past 12 years in that time I've owned several Hi Aces, 2 light Aces, too many Ford Econovans & even 1 Mitsubishi E220 (I purchased in desperation)... My reps and I cover approximately 400,000 Kms per annum 240,000 miles and apart from odd problems with little things like door handles becoming detached and one with a very unreliable burglar alarm I have had no problem at all... These Vans are built to withstand Australian conditions and do that admirably; they are also incredibly economical both on city and freeway runs in fact I have trouble discerning any noticeable difference between cycles; my personal Pregio guarantees me 10 litres per 100 Km travel and in Australia that's bloody cheap conveyancing in any man's terms. I noticed someone mentioned problems with over-heating, let me tell you this country is as dry as an Arab's jock strap and bloody hot at times and never once have I observed the temp guage any higher than below half way... In short these are a Ball-Tearer of a vehicle and one which will return value for money over a very short period; that's what business is all about... Incidentally Kia have a plan here in Australia which efectively gives 6 years warranty and 24 hour free roadside assist...
Another forgettable Kia car (or should I say, van). The Pregio is neatly designed (compared to the norm of the boxy frig type people carriers). However, that's about it. Interior feels too plasticky, ergonomics aren't so nice, engine is temperamental (overheats even!) and well, the thing isn't solidly built. With better competition from the likes of Nissan and Toyota...it's a goner!
