My chevette just stopped running last
week, at first I thought that it was
water min the gas, but no, then I
thought that it was a ectrical problem,
checked coil, eclectronic ingnition
module, pick up coil on distributor
housing, no it was the carburator bolts
vibrated so losse that the car stopped
running, an the worst thing about all
of it was the car books available for
chevettes are the pits, they lack so
much info, I wanted to find out where
no 1,2,3,4 wires would go on the
distributor cap but no book that I have
come across indicates a resonably good
diagram. And if you don't have a friend
who owns another one to check out
you'll have to tow to the garage all
because there isn't a decent repair
manual avilable for the pontiac T 1000
or chevette.
