They may not be the most popular and cheapest of computers but you get what you pay for with Apple. Build quality is fantastic and computers 10 years old are still used quite happily today. With performance that can match higher specced PC for those who want computer access without the fuss and without a tobacco coloured box iMac is the answer.

I've had my beautiful blueberry iMac DV for about 3 months now
and I still absolutely love it everyone I know is incredibly envyous of
it as they have nasty cheap PC's. the DVD player is fantastic, the
screen is huge, crisp and clear. I've tried FireWire using a friends DV
cam a 'Canon MV 20' fantastic piece of kit. iMovie is easy to use as
well as being powerful. The iMac manages to outrun an equivelent
P3 by over 5x yet it is a bargain.
Definetly the Best mac s

I bought an imac a few years ago and never had any problem with the product. Very reliable. However i have had to buy a pc because all problems encountered were with other people. For example I am at university and it would not let me access from home. Really hard to pick up bargains for kids games etc and just try asking anyone for help with it. They look at you and say, Mac? oh no! I felt as if i had bought the betamax of video recorders! However I won't get rid of it and will just use my pc while at university.
