Have extensive cruised a Sadler 32 Indian, Atlantic, Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico. Have sailed others around UK. A really excellent vessel with lots of room for storage, goes very well to wind and handles rough weather with no problems. The canoe type stern means a very dry boat when running down wind. The seas and swells just passed by beneath you with no fuss or bother. All my cruising was done with a Autohelm 2000 auto pilot which was sufficient.
Highest winds experienced 70 plus knots. Have been knocked down a few times but she comes up extremely fast.
Now sail extensively with two kids. We are planning to do a circim navigation in the next few years.
Was hit by a tail of a cyclone in the Mozambique current wind of 87 knots, the yacht behave outstandingly me and my wife was feeling safe, minimal damage, lost wind speed and vhf antenna, no other damage. Crossed the indian ocean in the South monsoon, lost the mast 32 miles off the shore of Kenia (rigging 15 years old, even demasted had extreme stability but the rock e roll !!!
In production for many years, this cruiser offers good performance bith under sail and under power. Available with either fin keel or bilge keel.

these are really great boats - I've had a deep fin one for 4 years now, goes well to windward, no vices under sail, stiff, dry, fast. Comfortable cockpit (I'm 6 foot and often sleep in it in the summer), traditonal layout which I couldn't fault, plenty of handholds - comfortable, usable navigation station. The quarter berth should be regarded as a king size single - it must be nearly 8' long and 4' wide at the front. You sometimes see these boats for around the £20,000 mark, which represent outstanding value for money.

A tough sea boat with adequate accommodation for 2-4 people to live on. Proved itself in a F7 coming around the South coast. 2 of us lived onboard for 3 months and it stored everything we needed - including the ladder we forgot to send home before staring off, strapped to the guard rail!
Owned for 1 year.

Fantastic Sea-going yacht with long range capability. Narrow transom gives here a traditional look with great lines but limits accomodation in the aft berth.

A bit of classic in there somewhere and a good all round performer with a better galley than most of her contemoraries. A bit rolly downwind but stiff enough to windward, best not sailed at over 20 deegrees of heel or sho slows down. Had one for 6 years now and love her!

Excellent sea boat, fast and easily handled. Accomodation is basic by modern standards but acceptable.
