Own "Zircon" for two years sailed out of mylor, river Fal then QB, Plymouth with wife & 7yr old daughter, allways a safe & pleasurable experiance even when the weather picked up. Sold her when moved to Spain, often wished I had'nt.
Easy to handle, sure footed, set up right sail herself.
I was to tall, problem if leakage did occure between the skins.

i had a fantasic 25 called "phoebus" which I raced with Martin Sadler for 4 years and never beaten. a very safe boat will always look after you (forget the head room, what is important is beautiful lines)
For our first sail boat & having never sailed before,I found the sadler25 easy to handle. Yes the headroom is a little low and for this reason will eventually aquire a larger sadler. But for now I shall enjoy the sailing. I have changed from a petrol engine to a deisel other than this the boat has had no problems.Misty of [Log in to view email]
The fin keeler is an excellent sea boat (numerous transatlantic crossings including my own boat) - sails particularly well upwind - very easy boat to handle, a perfect first keel boat own. The only downside is the headroom below. 'Blue [Log in to view email]
Ideal starter boat, handles like a dingy, great performer and solid when the weather gets rough.

We are dinghy sailers who now sail the 25 (fin) as a day boat off Cornwall. Owned for six years we have no complaints apart from lack of headroom, which becomes obvious when it's wet and we sleep on her. But what do you expect for the money! She really is an excellent little boat and although we are looking for another larger Sadler we will be very reluctant to part with her.

Bought mine last July; it's easy to sail with an inexperienced crew and seems very seaworthy. I too though have a slight leak from a deck fitting- difficult to work out which one because of the interior moulding! Otherwise, a little cracker.

I bought one last March. It has more than exceeded my expectations. It has perfect manners and is easy to sil with my wife (who is not a sailor!)

Superb and safe little boat, easily handled by one man with excellent pointing abilities, set the sails up and you hardly need an autopilot. On the down side it lacks head room but as we only go below to eat and sleep, it's no real problem. Only trouble at the moment is that there is a leak from the deck tracks and this is going to be a problem to solve due to the inner moulding being fitted after the tracks originally
