Great little boats. Have been sailing mine for three years. Bought her when my son was four days old and he has grwon up sailing her. Very safe boat with kids. Accomodation fine for a day out, not for family cruising. No roblem when a couple or two blokes.
Osiris is a bilgekeeler and in retrospect, would have gne for the finkeel for windward beating, however love Osiris to bits and will be sad they day I let her go for a bigger boat.

We've owned a Hurley 22 for 3 months, and we're starting to like the boat more and more. Apart from her looks, she's also capable of passing much bigger ships, which surprised us. After getting to know her better and rearranging some things on board, we now have aboat to be proud of...
I joined the Royal Navy in 84, and was introduced to the sailboat in what was called hurley week. Been in love with them ever since! You also have to ask yourself why the Royal Navy should choose such a yacht? Say's it all no?

Lazarette with outboard well not adequate in 21C. Much more seaworthy with i/b diesel, sprayhood, r/r genoa and slab reefing main. Shapely wineglass hull. Ideal for single-handed sailing with GPS & autopilot.

Sailed for 10 years on Brigadoon, Hurley 22. Sold her and broke my heart. She was the greatest boat to sail especially across the Irish Sea channel over to Scotland from Carrickfergus.
