A cheap first boat (if you can find one this side of the pond), the only cheap thing about this boat is the price. Swift for it's age and design, stiff with over 50% ballast ratio, like a caravan down below and a large, safe cockpit. Mine has an outboard which leaves a large space for stowage where the inboard used to live and the outboard and fuel tank are self-contained within the lazarette. People who view it for the first time liken it to the Tardis and ex-racers are surprised at the turn of speed. In 1968 PBO ran a comparison rally of ten small yachts and the C25 came second only to a catamaran. Oh, and finally, 5'10' headroom under the main hatch which, by the way, is 3' x 2', lovely on a sunny day.
