The Prelude is a true performance car. It is underated and deserves more respect. I've had my prelude for a year now, the engine is responsive and the handling is fantastic. my car now kicks out 340BHP with a 100BHP nos gain (440)
i've uprated the suspension and she flies round corners with excellent grip. This car is not for the ametuer driver. I'm 20 years old.

Excellent trailer sailer. With the lifting keel, there is plenty of room in the cabin. Nice double bed in the
'sharp' end

Rebuilt Prelude from wreck status. Great fun to sail, light and responsive will wizz past lots of much larger boats...!
Very cramped down below - keel takes up most of the floor space. Watch out for leaks/cracks on the keel box. Should be able to pick up a decent one for £1300-1700 depending on equipment.

The Prelude 19 is a safe very easy to sail yacht. It is remarkably quick for it's size. It has good accomodation and fitting and with bilge keel version we have, everywhere is accesible.

Prices are about £2500 - 3500 which is good value for money.

Great fun to sail, won a few harbour races. Lifting the keel down wind adds at least 1knt but take care! Not much headroom but good value boat. Dont go forward with outboard motor running unless you have crew in cockpit.

large cockpit, best accomodation fot its
size and good performance.Well built and
low maintenance.I have owned 15 yachts
from 12 ft. to 26 ft. and this is the best compromise between performance and
comfort.

I have sailed a Prelude for the past 5 years and found it to be an excellent performance boat. The cockpit is very roomy for a 19.6 yacht, and the accommodation and finish below decks is of a very high standard.
