Ideal starter boat, easily handled & very forgiving. I've had my 19' version for 2 seasons now. Very cheap to get on the water & an active owners association.
well i dont think im really qualified to have a serious opinion im 32 never sailed in my life, but always wanted a powerboat until 4 weeks ago when through a friend who owns a couple of sailing vessels invited me out sailing ouch badly bitten, on reluctantly returning to shore i noticed a pitiful little 17ft (as ive now been told) lysander or so i believe. nameplate crystal full of mud, cabin under a ft of water and a hive of sealife, walk away not i, well when ur bit that bad u cant can you. so i inquired £260 was the reply i got to the boatyard before he put the ph down with the cash. i'll have it thanx:)yes ear to ear. scrub, bail, bang, sand, stain, more scrubbing and polishing, did i mention bailing today i took her out for the first time by myself under mailsail:) im still wearing it :):):) oh and theres 2moro of course. its like being a kid the nite b4 xmas. if you know of this boat or recognise the port of sheerness reg 1798 please contact me
