I have owned a Kingfisher 20+ "Antares" for 2 years now and consider the 20+ to be a much underated yacht, they may not be very pretty ? but a safer, strong seaworthy well designed boat would be hard to find, the interior layout is brilliant, we regularly live aboard ours for a month at a time and we are still married ! They sail well are good mannered forgiving and simple to rig and maintain. Plus you can buy a good one for less than £3500.

Cons:

Outboard engine well in cockpit can give problems with regards to fumes from engine, best to leave top cover on well off when engine is running.
