Hillman Imp was made in Scotland the only one I drove was when brought into the scrap yard, they were small inside compared to a mini and had the engine in rear, they were typical females car, personally it felt like being in a goldfish bowl the windows were so close all around was like a glass cube in shape it had an 875cc rear -mounted,overhead cam,think it had around 40bhp I would reckon top speed would have been around 75-80 so people who owned stated
it didnt look safe to go that fast, that was a 1963 they went out of business in the mid 70s,we didnt have many in our yard, maybe they just hidden away in some shed.

875cc would be ideal today at price of petrol and insurance
