Last year I was hankering after a motor home, after looking at the prices at home I decided to book a cheap Easyjet ticket to Germany. After a bit of messing around I eventually found a great old beast 1990 Burstner A680 6 berth, with 90,000 miles and in pretty good condition. it had also had a recent cambelt, after deducing some German service history! Its a LHD van, perfect for my trips over to the continent, and the odd weekend in blighty. I ended up picking her up for a steel saving around £3000-£4000 on the equivalent UK vehicle. I Had her mot'ed and registered in a couple of weeks and she just passed her 2nd mot without any work needing to be done.
All round its a great old van and everything works, I just wish I could get hold of a English version of the Manual.
Size, engine power, fuel economy, kids love it!
If I had to criticise its a little noisey at speed|
