Bought this car in 1965 from a car dealer in Kingston...my dad thought I was ripped off...paid £120...this car has been with me for all that time and is still running (but neads some love now)...she has travelled over Europe and up to Scotland...now living in Devon at our Gables Tea rooms Umberleigh. Last year exhibited her at Chappelton steam rally...but this car is not a retoration pristine model...she is more or less as she was when i bought her in 1965...same engine restored gear box...new red soft top 25 years ago (by my dad)...and apart from a change of colour to racing cream 8years ago, from Black, she is as was. It is interesting to note...that this car was put into store at the end of world war 2 (so basically a pre war style...and then assemble agin for a couple of years after the war..the 1947 model was i think the last of this style.
This convertable is a very rare car
Apart from the age none
Reviewing a 1947 model.
Built pre war and finally assembled after the war for two years
Owned for more than 5 years.
