The Elizabethan 31, with it's long keel and large deep cockpit makes an excellent, safe cruising yacht. I sailed mine from Devon to Brittany on many occasions and always had great faith in her ability. On a reach she managed 9.5kts. Below deck, she has a very practical layout including full headroom, a galley with space for a cooker with an oven, a good sized chart table and 6 berths. My only regret is that after moving abroad I sold her.
