Had this vehicle two years now,regular travels to Europe and around town shopping, kids runs, dogs to vets - you name it - a really good versitile people carrier. 8 seater but can convert to van, camper, forward or rear facing seats, two sets of air-con, sunshine glass roof x 2 - one electric. Heavy vehicle but still get 31 mpg on the motorway - 28 when towing a caravan and they are great toe vehicles. Spares are now easy to get, lots of Lucidas in UK now as after 10 years in Japan, they have to come off the road - it's the law! You can't drive them like a coupe or a sports saloon - else you get problems, but drive them like a bus, do the oil change every 3000 miles and lokk after it - they are a great buy. 1997 imports at about £4k should get you a good machine - about 50,000 miles (80,000 kms as they are in kms). Recommended? Oh yes. Buy another? Already have!!

I have a toyota estima which is basically the same car i have had it for two years now and i love it as long as you look after this sort of car then they are a wonder i am a camper and i can get all my camping gear in the back and my two children which is a bonus !! i love the space and versatility of this car my friend has the same car and she loves hers to.

i have four wheel drive so the new car tax may become an issue who knows?
