I've had my pink(!)Marbella for over 2 years and, before this, had the identical model, also in pink, for 3 years - replacing a Fiat Panda (on which the model was originally based).

I love my 'PinkMobile' despite it being the butt of so many jokes and sneers - but it's also a talking point and I've had several people knocking on my door asking if it's for sale.

It's cheap, cheerful, tinny, noisy and the brakes can be a little spongy but, having said this, it's cost me next to nothing to maintain. I have only had to replace 1 tyre at £30 plus the battery at £25 - and it's never let me down once.

I've taken it all over the UK, cruising happily along the motorway and overtaking the BMWs and flash cars on the hard shoulder. She easily clocks +400 miles in a day and I can get over 55mpg. I've just weakened the mix slightly and I'll probably get even greater economy.

Like other Marbella-owners, I've also found it can carry an amazing amount - in my case, she happily holds 4 full hay bales to feed my rabbits. Not many smaller cars could boast this feat which is mostly associated with larger estates or a van.

Roll on my PinkMobile - you're wonderful!

A car which I drive out purely for getting from a to b.
The plus points: cheap to tax/insure/run.
The minus points: dog slow, flimsy build and noisy pushrod engine. Changing the oil requires the patience of a saint as the oil filter is almost impossible to reach and unscrew with the car on the ground. Also pouring the new oil requires more patience as the fill hole into the cylinder head is tiny and oil overspills. No haynes manual available but it's almost the same as panda mk1.
Brakes lack 'bite'.
Also provokes 'slow car syndrome' in other drivers, ie they tailgate you constantly even when you are at the speed limit (BMW drivers are the worst).
Only ever buy if you're desperate or a cheapskate (like me)

Great little car - got it from my Mother, who always drives Seats, its only broken down twice in 15 years service! Nippy around town, but beware of the brakes... foot brake is VERY spongy, and I once pulled the handbrake out the floor!!! On the plus side, for a small car the view of the road is great and there are virtually no blind spots. Also, for a small car there is a suprisingly large amount of space in it - I've used it as a traders van for taking computers to fairs. Washing machines etc fit in the back easily. (With the rear seats removed) Despite annoying quirks, would definitely buy another if they were still made today... Cheap, Practical, Reliable, Love it!

I've had the car for somtime now, and it's not really that bad, Standard it's not excellent in the looks department, but modded, it can look quite tidy. I put alloys on the car with wider 165/65/13 tyres, which are a "lot" better compared with the standard wheels 135/80/13. Added a sports exhaust, and a few other touches which really make a diffrence to the way the car looks and preforms, this is an ideal first car for anyone!

my girlfriend owned one for these last 4 years and now that we are married i love to go round malta with this lovely car. it is very reliable and no matter at what level the humidity is it will start in a second. the breaks leave to desire but for the ride it is great, even in such the bumpy roads that we have here. Just love it

I love my MARBELLA L 0.9 !!!!!

-I will ceep it for life ! The insurance is cheap, the pertol use of the car is low, and it take's me anywhere I want to.

-The only small problem is when the air is foggy, or afther A rainy day, it take's up to 3 minute's to start the carr.

-The comfort is to change the seats ibn the car, becouse the original seats are terrible. So i now have some Fiat seats, that can be changed of position. The radio I have build in, works for A full 100% and can make you def in seconds, to reach this I changed the battery of the car for A large heavy one. When the voluyme is up you can see the head lights dimm on the rythem of the "Heavy metal" music. On the floor I have put some real expensive carpet.

My car looks NICE !!!!!
