Honda reliability,but lacks a little on performence compared to newer fireblades. good looks and easy to ride but a little bland compared to yamaha r1 which is what it was trying to beat when launched.ive had both r1 and a cbr rr1 and would choose the blade everytime. automatic choke is a real bonus and superb build quality.much better than newer blades!! make sure all recall work has been done and youl be laughing all day long
FIREBLADES are probably one of the best known and loved Honda motorcycles around, I have had the pleasure of owning a CBR RRY on a 2000 plate for 6 years now, and of the 21 motorbikes Ive owned this is the best! Performance, realiability, looks and easy to ride, if you are having a Blade this is the one to go for! Have rode the newer model but foun d it to be less forgiving when riding, and used more petrol for some reason!!
