I took on the Honda Lead as a learner bike. I was pleased with the ride quality and the reliability of the motor. However, Honda have seriously failed in their duty of care in the design of this scooter. The mirrors are so small that any rider will only be able to see his arms. Honda were unable to supply effective mirrors to provide an adequate rear view for this scooter. Even worse was the headlight. I live in a rural area, country lanes with no street lighting. The headlight on this scooter was so dim that I could not even see the road, bends and verges were invisible. If it had not been for a companion riding with me on a motorbike, I would not have been able to see my way home. Full beam is so dim that it is virtually useless.
ive not had the scooter for long, but it is second hand.it seems to be good on fuel, starts 1st time everytime and is ideal for use as a runaround.theres no room for a full face helmet, but if you add a box for that job, there is then plenty space under the seat.doesnt go very fast (45-50 max)nor does it have much accelleration.what it does,it does well.
