I bought my Muddy Fox mountain bike second hand in Australia for $180 four years ago and used it for a touring bike. I used pannier bags for a while but recently bought a trailer for it. I chose to use this bike over a road bike because of its superior strength [Aluminium] and its design.Because of its age it has got no suspension which also suited me. This bike has traveled thousands of kilometres sometimes about 500 kilometres in less than a week. It is one of my favourite bikes out of a dozen I own. With its lightness and slicks on I can keep up with many road bikes when not loaded. I dont know its exact age, it is white with purple decals, has XTR centre pull brakes. It has Deore 7 speed thumb shifters and LX derailers with Mavic rims.
