Purchased this model new in July 2004 mainly for it's amazing good looks. Needed a station wagon/estate but also didn't want to sit lowdown due to my sometimes bad back - so decided I would look at the range of people movers. Not known for their good looks as a rule, the Mitsubishi stood out from the pack with it's sleek and dramatic styling.
After having had a number of unreliable european models of late - I had decided to purchase Japanese this time - just for some peace of mind. I've done 10,000 kms so far and not a single problem - fingers crossed!
Spacious and comfortable with good, but not staggering performance from the 2.4 MIVEC engine - very and quiet though. Excellent safety features including 5-star crash test rating and 8 airbags (including side curtain airbags for the 3rd row passengers). Versatile seating combinations and great rear independent ventilation/air conditioning.
Dealers service has been outstanding as was the 3 year interest-free finance package on the already ultra competitive purchase price of NZ$39,500 (12,000 UK Pounds)
Excellent storage/load capacity too - had it loaded to the roof on at least 3 out of town trips with ease.
All in all - very, very happy with this beautiful car so far.....
