[1.4 petrol] I personally clocked close on 250,000miles in one of these. A nice drive and surprisingly quick from only 60bhp. An under-rated car, more refined than 205.

had the little 1.1 and taught the wife to drive in it (she passed and we are still married !)It did look rather shabby , the red paint being very faded and the interior especially the seats was falling apart.However it was very reliable and easy to service yourself.Top speed about 90 eventually but it was quite peppy arounnd town and gave 50mpg .Also very little rust on it , unlike my much newer and expensive vauxhall
