We got our MB Terrain via a friend coming across from Australia back when MB's were virtually unknown in the UK. Prior to that we'd gone through a Mamas & Papas Pliko system, a 2nd hand Silvercross Wayfarer, and a Baby Jogger II I'd bought in the US whilst on a business trip...
If only we'd known about the MB Terrain back when we first started looking!!!
It certainly won't win any prizes for beauty, but it must be the most robust, practical, adaptable and useful 3 wheeler (or pram for that matter) on the market.
It is comfortable for long journeys (or at least that's what our two kids tell us), reclines to a nearly flat platform, can be fitted with a bassinet instead of the reclining seat for new borns, has a really solid sunshade, a good sized wire tray on the bottom, and a balance point that allows you to weigh it down with all sorts of shopping and other bags without fear of it tipping back. It also eats stairs, potholes and curbs - an essential for a London pushchair where often the ability to be employed as a part-time battering ram is a necessity!
Yes it is quite expensive, but its well worth it given
