I bought a brand new one back in 1997 and recently sold as moved overseas. Saddest day of my life. The scooter was the best I have ever owned. I agree with other comments from other people, dont bolt on any kits. 75mph on a standard 125 scooter is fast enough. Its a great bike and i am still upset over my loss. If you have the chance to buy one, then get test drive it and compare to a standard 125 or a P200. Then you'll understand what I mean.
fast, good looking and 100% reliable
Doesnt like going over bridges on windy days (just like hitting a brick wall) immediate de acceleration as you look in your mirrors and see an artic up your ar**. Also, doesn't like diesel spillages.

silver and fast
Owned for more than 5 years.
Had the scoot in the summer but never rode it just had it M.O.T d and now cant wait for some good weather to try it out parts were readily available and the servicing was cheap £65 for a full service £15 road tax £66 insurance (Bennets) ready for some rideouts to show it off
Bought the classic T5 millenium No 144 of 400 in April this year. Did own a Lambretta GT200 back in the 70's but this is the bee's knee's for a 125 quick reliable looks good
This is by far the best and most reliable Vespa I have owned to date and that spans over a decade. I have the T5 Millenium. It easily clocks 75mph and will beat most P2 Range on a warm day. Dont fall into the trap of bolting kits on as Ive seen many go pop after short a time. Ive owned mine for over 3 years and have never touched it although it still looks showroom condition it has done 23,000 miles and sounds crisp. The only drawback is it dont like a windy day.
I HAVE A T5 CLASSIC BEST VESPA EVER MADE,BLACK AND CHROME VERY RELIABLE, I GOT MARRIED ON MINE,BEST VESPA I HAVE EVER OWNED I HAVE 5 VESPAS AT PRESANT P200 T5 PK135 PK50 PK50AUTO AND THE T5 WINS EVERY TIME BY LOOKS RELIABILITY AND EVERYTHING, ANY ONE WHO WANTS A VESPA GET THE T5 AND KEEP THEM POLLISHED AND LOOKING AS NEW, AND THEY WILL LOOK AFTER YOU....
RELIABILITY,LOOKS GREAT,QUICK,AND THE NAME..
I CANT THINK OF ANY??

VESPA PX T5 CLASSIC WITH ALL THE CHROME PARTS ON
Owned for 4 years.
Just bought my 2nd T5 having previously owned a px125 and a T5 classic. Its a lovely scoot with considerably more "go" than the px due to better porting and gearing. The model I own currently is an early model (89) with the square headlight and tacho (a useful feature) I use my bike as a commuter and so far it has been perfectly reliable. It will happily sit at 60-65mph all day which for a heavy steel framed scoot with the aerodynamics of a house brick isnt at all bad! Anyone considering a vespa should certainly look around for a T5 as they are imo a much better bike than the more common px range. One important thing to look at on any T5 is rust under the rubber floor matts as water tends to gather here and if left unatended can cause probs. That aside the only essential thing is to put on some decent tyres as the standard fit pirelli "tractor" tyres are lethal.
i own a t5 classic and i think its great a couple of glitches but you cant escape that problem! Great fun to drive a lot of street cred and people love as its a CLASSIC? wot do u think?
Owned for 3 months.
