this machine is very underrated very reliable quick machine for era with just reportedley brakes letting them down. i personally have had no trouble with braking system having keeping them serviced regularly and find them to be better in the wet than exposed disks

Owned for more than 5 years.
This is my first 'big' bike and is a great introduction to the world of larger engines. I paid £750 for it with on 7500miles on the clock (B reg) But there have been a few problems with various aspects of it. Mainly the brakes - These were concept brakes by honda and have special air intakes - oh dear what a mistake. Honda discontinued this after about 2 years run because of the unreliability. I have recently paid to get them deseized as it got to a point where by they were rubbing all the time. After some snow and hence salt on the roads I am having to fork out again after only 4 weeks to get them deseized again. On the plus side though I have had emmense gun on this bike and it really does perform well over short distances, not much comfort over long distances though. It was fun whilst it lasted but I shant have another. Or any others like it!
