Not had it long but good all rounder, especially as a first bike. Starts well, cleans up well and feels like a bike not a plastic model. May not be the fastest thing on the road but by no means slowest. Pulls well and corners well in the right gear. Can't beat a bit of good old metal and chrome , rust and all, it's authentic!
Mine's my first bike - an old battered affair but I love it. The SR 125 is used by many training schools for CBTs so that gives you an idea - reliable, economical, no thrills. It does however feel more like a bike than the CG125. Sluggish it maybe but that bit of weight and the design make you feel like you're riding a bike. Well Economical. My God a full tank just goes on and on and on. Its cruiser design is not to everyone's taste - especially on a small bike...but I find it comfortable and the slightly longer wheelbase feels nice and secure. Handles well and feels good. If you're looking for a nice round town bike I reckon it's just fine. If you're a boy-racer, then forget it. Infact if you're a boy racer, do us all a favour and stay off the road. I got mine ( 1993 in good nick) for £475 - a quick deal so not too bad on price.
