Owned for just over a year. Great to drive, loads of gadgets, get to work feelin good. Pretty good MPG for the size of engine (35mpg). Huge boot. Sounds lovely when you give it some stick. Great standard Ford stereo as usual.
The more you drive it the better and better it gets. V6 is a dream, both smooth and pretty quick if you drive it right. Handles like a dream and I cant wait to do some mods to it. Only one downfall as soon as either a boy racer nova or indeed the 'white man van' appears in your mirror they immediately start taunting you! a right pain when there are too many speed cameras about to show them up. Not impressed with Ford Service Centres as they are clueless about the car especially if you have any problems. UK Cougar.com is however very imformative and helpful. It was love at first tick over!! V6 engine is a dream, sounds lovely. Costly to run, but you forget about that when you drive down a road with some sweeping bends and a Nova in your rear view!!! lol
Wasn't shopping for a Cougar but wanted it as soon as I saw it! Comfortable for a big guy (6'2"), lots of toys and gets admiring glances. The only car I have ever owned that still makes me smile after a year of driving. Sod the costs!!! Baize

In 3 years of ownership no problems at all. Still get the same buzz when I drive it every day. Large load space, excellent handling. Very stylish and becoming rare.

Great car, good value for money. The Cougar hosts stunning good looks, it's cheap to own with it's modest running costs.
