heavy steering, very bumpy ride (forget having a rear seat passenger) terrible gearchange, heavy clutch feels like it's straight out of a Massey Ferguson, engine mountings inadequate from new causing lunging, suspension is a joke, electrics are the punchline! this is THE worst car I have ever had, £15000 for a HDi GLX hatch 90BHP. the only good thing about this car is that I only have to keep it another year and then I can go and buy a Volkswagen!

My 307 (1.6 Rapier) has now been relegated to 'This car is disappointing' to say the least. 2001 Y Reg which has covered 32k (not too high in my books) but in it's 2 1/2 year life has been recalled for ignition barrell change, rear knocking noise which one dealer couldn't identify !! The next dealer found it straight away - loose anti roll bar, head gasket (YES HEAD GASKET!!) went at 30k ... please beware I have heard of others. Oh yes, the rear exhaust section snapped like a carrot last night .... and guess what ? ..... They are only currently available from the Main Dealer .... quel surprise !! Can't wait to get rid of it

I luv my 307 it it a great car!
It's not the most powerful car on the road (I have the 2 litre) but it handles well especially around roundabouts! it is fun to drive.
