Had my rs1 evo for about a month now and i think its the best 50cc bike available ive but a metra kit race exhaust racing jets and am just waiting for some freetime to fit my 70cc bore kit at about 10,000 rpm will pull about 65-70 and handles like a dream lol only thing wrong is the electrics dont work till the bike is running so have to bump start it(not hard as its a two stroke)
hi i need help my bike is a rieju rs1 evolution i have had a lot of trouble with it it wont start all the time and when it starts it farts about then when it goes it goes well at high rpm but as soon as i let the rpm drop for example at traffic lights it cuts out i have tried everything new barrel and piston new fuel tank new cdi rebuilt bottom end i just cant seem to find the fault can anyone help please i have spent a lot of money on this bike and i dont want to give up now any advice would be very much appreciated cheers matt
Ive owned my RS1 since september last year, not had any trouble with it at all really. I get loads of people saying that its nicer than the aprilias purely because it isnt as common! I myself dont agree with them but there you go. Straight from the box (just de-restricted) it would do 58mph @10,000 rpm. Ive put a gianelli exhaust on it (Made for an Aprilia but they have same engine, just had to make a hanger etc). Doppler carbon fiber race reeds with a performance intake manifold and 26mm carb. Ive had a doppler race crankshaft in it, and had the engine ported and polished with a 50cc lightwieght aluminium barrel and piston as well as some other tuning :)....The bike is is able to rev to 17,000rpm but ive not had it past 11 yet and it has been doing around 70-80mph. ive no need to take it any further because it blitzes any other 50 in my area and even beats 125 4-strokes. Finding decent tires for it is a pain though, it runs on 16 inch hoops :(...however ive found that the Metzeler ME1s are really good tires in both the dry and the wet and have a fairly long life. Ive just bought an Aprilia RS125 but i still go out on the now and agen.
I have had no trouble with my bike at all, starts well in the mornings handles well in corners and i cant complain with the top speed (65mph)(no performance parts). All parts i have ordered have arrived next day!

This is the second rs1 i've had, the first one got written off and i nearly did at the same time!!! Its the last one to come into the country!!! lol the first one i had topped out at about 55mph, the reason being it was restricted when i got it and was for about 5-6 months, the one i have now was de-restricted straight away so it was run in properly and has a top speed of about 67-68mph just de-restricted, no new pipe no bigger carb and no big bore kit, i couldnt believe it myself wen i looked at the speedo!!! i would recommened this bike to anyone, if it wasnt being discontinued, although it can b quite uncomfortable if your tall, im 6 foot 2 and it hurts after a while of riding. I think its a great starter bike, now i just cant wait till april to get a Cagiva Mito 125!!!!

had it since april 03 and i have had nothing but trouble with it. electrics have stopped working unless the engines running, so i have to bumb start it. the engine siezed as well, so i had a nice 300 plus bill to sort it all out. performance wise its pretty gud, im weigh 13.5stone and it manages to propell me at 60mph (no performance parts. i have raced my m8s RS50 with a harris performance pipe and mine beats it up to 50mph but then its extra speed takes over. not many bikes match in acceleration it apart from F*@K1N derbi sendas, I HATE THEM!!!thinking of gettin it bored out and putting trick parts on it, any advice on which pipe works best would be helpful, thank, hope this helps
