Hi All
We traded our Bailey in for the new Clubman ES at the October Caravan Show and trekked up to Worksop (That's where the dealer was) mid November to collect it. The weather was pretty miserable and after a brief familiarisation session with one of their technicians, we were hooked up by the salesman and sent on our way. The Clubman is equipped with the new ALKO ATC Stability system, the operation of which was completely skirted around thus leaving us assuming all was hunky dory however, the journey home was horrendous, we tow with a more than capable Kia Sorrento which seemed to struggle all the way (Some 175 miles or so) as if the brakes were binding. It wasn't until after we got home and parked the van up that I went through the ALKO Instruction Leaflet which was in the pack only to discover that the ATC System performs a series of self checks and must show a green light before moving off. Well, I could not remember if it was red, green or flashing when we departed and worried for weeks afterwards until our first live in trip.

We loaded the van, positioned it ready to hitch up and carefully did so, plugged in the cables and watched whilst the self check took place. Well, needless to say it returned an error and I had to do a bit of contact maintenance on the sockets to get it to complete it's test successfully. happily, the van towed like a dream. I have since purchased a can of Switch Cleaner/Lubricant which I shall use regularly in future. I suppose the moral of this story is never trust anyone else to hitch you up and find out how it all works before taking to the road.

Spacious, ample worktops, great washroom, easy bed making, good kitchen and very comfortable.
Draught from beneath the fridge and table store particularly in cold weather, Ultrastore and Ultraheat switches can be accidentally turned on/off, particularly bad if the tank is empty and the fridge mode can be changed just by leaning against it.

This 2 berth caravan is very spacious. Heating & water system excellent, well recommended. Ample room to shower.
A nice comfortable C/van recommended for a couple or with 1 small child.

This has been our first van - and we
will be very sad to let it go, but alas,
as a family we have now outgrown it.
For a 2 berth, it seems extremely
spacious with a very high roof all the
way down (my husband who is 6 foot
has no problem standing at the very
front of the van - some can seem
cramped). The changing room at the
end is most useful. Loads of
storage. Only downside is the door
finishes can peel a bit at the corners,
but I guess for a van that's 14 years
old, we could let that one go!
