Opel Monzas are a drivers car for their age performance is outstanding the availability of info / parts etc etc is best available at websites twomas and autobahnstormers where like minded owners are only to pleased to pass on info and parts .
I owned a 1992 Opel Monza 1600 CLS for 6 years but had to sell her since I was going oversees. Definately one of the hardest decisions of my life. My Opel looked after me and I did the same for HER. She cost me R20000 and I sold her for R17000. My car was an extension of myself and the service I received from her made me into an Opel fan. My Opel had a "mind" of its own. Having found out one morning in the pouring Cape Town rain that she would not start, I found myself having to take the bus to work or be late. I had tried everything I knew to get the girl going. After work I returned to the old lady, jumped into the front seat, turned the ignition and hey presto, what do you know???? She started up quicker and better than ever!! I GUESS SHE JUST WAS NOT IN THE MOOD FOR WORK THAT DAY!! Typical female!!!
i've had a monza 3.0i for six months. i am doing a strip,rebuild and respray.i am finding it very difficult to get hold of a manual for the engine.dose anyone know where i can get one from.

THIS IS A CAR I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED SINCE THE FIRST DAY I SAW ONE IT HAS NOT DISAPPOINTED ME IN ANY WAY THE RUST PROBLEM IS THE ONLY DOWNSIDE OF THE CAR BUT IT CAN BE OVERCOME IF THE RETURN ON INVESTMENT IS NOT TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT AND REALLY WHAT OTHER CAR CAN COMPARE
