Won't have a word said against this one. Mine was a 1982 blue model - called "Nancy". Always started, surviced numerous crashes and I sold it for as much as I paid for it - £30. I did about 12,000 miles - just change the oil every 1000 and you'll be fine. That bloke who invented the cable operated disc has a lot to answer for though. I changed it for a CG125 - much the same as "Nancy" but without the top end deathrattle. And indicators that work.

ive owned four CB100n's and i found them to be fine(even went from midlands to Lyon in France on one!).The surposive quick seaze calipier is not a problem with regular and preventative servicing.Ebc pads pads i found to be the best.Regular oil changes and 12 monthly filter clean(theres two.... a centrifugal filter and a wire filter). The camchains do rattle, but regular adjustment can help.Sometimes the cam-adjustment sticks and doesnt automatically adjust.so when your doing the adjustment remove the 10mm nut of the top off the locknut and use a thin screwdriver to GENTLY tap it free(whilst following the camchain proceedure- locknut slackened off etc). You can put the sidestand/footpegs of a cg125,but i dont recomend it as you can strip the threads holding the footpegs to the engine.Rear mudguard rots under seat and seat base too.Top speed about 60mph at 9000rpm.I found it to be a good bike for learning on and for daily use.

Had this revy little 4 stroker for 3 years and 30K miles .Not quite as powerful as the 2 stroke 100s, but very good fuel consumption ,I easily got 110 to a gallon around london.Front brake assembley needed regular attention if it wasnt to seize .Camshaft runs in in the head without a bearing and its quite easy to ruin the head and cam if you are not careful with oil levels.camchain tensioner also weak and can let camchain cut its way through the barrel .However an easy bike to fix .Took mine touring and did 1500 miles in 2 weeks ,this it managed Ok and was even quite comfortable !
The Cg125 tougher with about same performance.top speed about 70mph
