Asconas just look right. They feel right. They can be a docile runabout, or easily turned into a road-burning beast. They may get into your blood! You will own quieter, safer, faster, newer cars, but they will need CHARACTER, which is being diluted in todays' autmotive gene- pool, until there will be none left. Ask yourself if there will be owners' clubs meeting in 25 years time for the majority of the low-protien, low-carb, fat-free Euroboxes being churned out as I'm keying this. I have Asconas and Mantas, and the feeling is always the same as getting on MY horse. He loves me, he wants to get me where I'm going, and he won't let me down. Spare a month's pay for a shot of soul. Get yourself an Ascona, or Manta, join the clubs, attend meetings, make some great friends, uprate the brakes, the suspension, get some advanced driver training, tune the engine, or convert to a 16Valve or a V8. That'll do what cars should. It will move you.
