The biggest mistake I made was selling my beloved Laurel 2.4. I bought it with 180k on the clock as a D reg and it didn't give me a day's trouble come hell and high water. Sure, it drank a lot of petrol but it was worth it. A pleasure to drive. I sold it once, the a month later tracked down the new owner and bought it back but... due to unfortunate circumstances she had to go again a year later. I have no regrets whatsover owning one of those beautiful tanks and would buy one tomorrow if I could... Classy vehicle.
153,000 miles on the clock,and has never let me down! Starts first time, anytime, any weather. Loads of room and comfortable.Runs like new. No rattles from body or engine. Hardly uses any oil at all. Will travel any distance towing a caravan in high summer with no problems. If Nissan still made them, I would buy a new one.
