I have had my discovery for 2 1/2 years, its been one thing after another going wrong, central locking, oil leak, boot seats would not come up, (only got 5 seater instead of 7) fuel pump, alternater, heater and now suspension and landrover or anybody else seem to now whats the matter had the weight sensor valves changed and the compressor and still doing it.
I love my Disco TD5 ES. Fullhouse. I am busy selling it as I can't afford to keep it running. The ABS, Traction Control and Down-Hill decent warning lights come on and each time it's another wheel needing a new sensor which costs a couple of grand. Apparently a common problem.

I've had my Disco for about 6 months now, and I love it. It's the TD5 ES 7 seater, which means it got pretty much all of the toys.
It pulls really well - the TD5 is the best Land Rover I've driven, and it's really smooth on the road. This is helped by the Air Suspension at the back, and the Active Cornering Enhancement (ACE) which reduces the roll in cornering which was very apparent in earlier models.
The dealer support has been really good so far, although the servicing cost is a little high - £700 for the 72,000 miles service!
The Disco performs excellently on road, and the limited off road driving it's had has been tackled with ease.
