My 1998 KLX300 has just droped a valve for the 4th time, this time total engin distruction, after phoning UK breakers and finding no heads barrels etc, I have to assume that this is a comen problem. Would apreciate any coments on this and any information regarding Kawasaki's view on the problem as its obiously poor design

Great off road bike,
am looking forward to putting on the pumper carb and aftermarket exhaust. usually start with one or two kicks.
