I'm in my first season with my HH23 having moved from dinghies. I really like my boat and have found it easy to sail and very well designed. I'd like to change the outboard to a Honda BF10 4 stroke. Does anyone know if this will fit in the well?
Sailed my HH23 for 4 seasons now and very pleased with her. Outstanding accommodation & comfort for size. Sails well - particularly to windward in rough weather - really knifes through the seas. Endorse earlier comment about adding third reef.
Excellent little yacht, capable of far more than most owners will subject her to. Add a third reef to the standard 2 to increase the range of conditions she can be sailed in. Easily singlehanded but add an autopilot as although she will sail herself close hauled with a lashed tiller, moving around upsets the trim and she goes off course quickly. Wished I'd bought one earlier!
