Great little bike, very reliable, good for first timers to biking. handling is bad as this is a cruiser i nicknamed my bike skippy as on motorways it would bounce along, but saying that it was a very forgiving bike, doing about 130mpg with much restraint, vibrates alitte too much for my likig but it has no balancer shaft as honda eliminated it cos of the earlier problems with this engine in the 80's as its a development of the superdream engie but without the problems. the only problem i encountered in the year i owned it was when i usedit in the winter and road crap got into the rear brake causing it to stick and the same on the gear selector shaft.

Very twitchy at start. The bikes takes more than 10 minutes to warm up in the spring and a couple hundred feet after that to get stable. Parts for the bike are plentiful but don't get them from the dealer...go to Jacks. The bike is very easy to handle and to learn on but most will find that they've outgrown it within the first 3-6 months. I am suffering from this malady right now. Overall its a great bike to learn on but not much more after that. Highway speeds make the bike very buzzy and once you get it up to 70-75...thats it. No passing power...no "Get out of the way in an emergency" power....nothing. Great bike for the city commute and backroad trips...but not too stable on the highway. Especially with high winds or trucks passing by.
Owned for 6 months.
