If you can replace a clutch in a Ford Escort you can replace your Citroen Synergie, you will need a good trolly jack even better axle stands. Don't beleve it when you are told you have to remove all the front support frame, the box will slide back into the gap between the frame and the body. You will need to remove the drive shafts. The offside one is removed by loosening the 2 11mm nuts on the drive shaft support bearing and turning them 90'd the whole shaft will then slide out, be carfull not to damage the cv boots.
I bought a turbo diesel to use as a taxi. It was 2 yrs old when i bought it and ive put 60k miles on it in a year and ive had no probs with it. It now has nearly 90k miles on the clock. Only prob i have had is with the electrics (the dash and a/c doesnt light up when i put headlights on) but apart from that nothing has gone wrong. I would recommend buying one if u need a bigger car - not a lot of boot space tho! Citreon servicing is reasonably priced and they have always been very helpful. It is lovely to drive and believe it or not it is much easier to park and manoerve (sorry cant spell!) than an ordinary car cos ur so much higher up and can see more. The only thing i would change on it is i would like bigger wing mirrors cos u cant really look over ur shoulder when reversing but overall an excellent car (and cheaper to buy than most other MPVs too)

Extremely versatile loadspace, good puller, comfortable and easy to drive. Trouble free so far except at 3 years/40,000 miles just beginning to have problems with lock on sliding door and rear washer.

I HAVE A 4YRS OLD SYNERGIE SX AND HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS WITH IT IT NOW HAS 16 DIAGNOSTIC PROBLEMS AND DOSENT GO I CAN SAY I AM VERY UNHAPPY WITH MY SYNERGIE
