Because these yachts were often self built, there finish varies. The accomodation is remarkable with a huge 1/4 berth a good size saloon with mid-ships galley and fwd facing chart table. The forepeak area is a touch short and the heads excellent.
Due to the high topsides the boat remains dry and the cockpit is a safe place to be when the seas pick up. I had the bilge version which took the ground perfectly without any need for support. However this is not a good sailing boat, she would not carry much canvas and her ability to point to windward was poor. She suffered severe weather helm regardless of sail configuration.
For pure sailing enjoyment look elsewhere, but for an all round package, good looks, excellent accomodation and the price, she is certainly worth looking at.
Excellent headroom and layout for 28ft boat. Comfortable sailing for 4 people. Has 5 berths - but a bit cramped for 5 adults. Well built, strong and sails well.
A tough quite spacious cruiser which sails well. A good seaboat which has retained her good looks despite now being a 1970's design

A great boat for the price - good size, good value, very strong and an accomplished boat to sail with a reasonable turn of speed for its age. Still used it the med by charter companies must say something for a boat more than 20 years old...?!!
