always loved the look of the car - love it more since i purchased it, even taking into account the problem elecs - all minor but a little anoying, 2.0 t spark is great, but watch the oil levels

S reg 2.0L GTV (RED of Course) This is the best handling/looking car I've ever owned. It goes exactly where you point it at amazing speeds. I haven't found the point at which it loses grip.
The tyres are expensive but don't wear too quickly. There have been some minor parts gone wrong, fan switch and aerial.
The major shock I had was with the rear suspension arm bush. This had become worn which in turn then started to gouge the (aluminium)sub-frame. Replacement of the sub frame was talked about £800+fitting(9 hours). Spoke to Alfa Romeo uk who advised a workaround was to fit new suspension arms (This was only acceptable if the depth of the wear into the sub frame was below 6mm depth) with washers! to stop the nasty bushes digging into the sub frame. cost £100 each and paid for in part by Alfa. Thank-you. Why it was not designed with washers in the first place I do not know.
So, great car, great drive....must go!
