i've had my speedfight 2 50cc for 4 years now selling due to upgrade to a car (i wouldnt sell it otherwise!) i loved every minute out on it. top speed of 58mph on slight incline, very happy to do 45mph on straight. petrol only cost me £5 to fill up and lasted a week of travelling back and forward to school (approx. 6 miles)

high top speed, cheap to maintain, looked good
occasionly slow to start during winter rain,

it is a overall good bike. im just about to turn 17 and my pug speedfight prost 1 will be for sale soon, they are a pain if you need to bleed the brakes (i ended up using 500ml of fluid b4 i got my feel back at the leaver) and it does 50+ on a slight decline and up a 3 in 1 i never go below 40mph!!!!its standing start is sh*t but thats the only complaint iv got. people that say they only go 12 mph are just jealous ar**ho*es.

I have got a 49cc speedfight 2, they are nice lookin peds, had it for about 12 months now. Had it de-restricted, leo vince exhaust put on it n supposibly me mate put a carb on it with bigger jets. It did 50. Then i blew some holes in the exhaust n it didnt work so went and bought a standard one n put that on. It does 40 now n my mates bought a gilera runner 50 and its much faster than mine and its standard but de-ristricted.
My speedfight has done lots of miles and had no real problems, but can be hard to start after a few hours of rain. I wud advise a scooter buyer to get an sr or runner if considering one of these.
I am gettin a sr125 soon so its goodbye for mine, but has been fun!!

I have 1998 100cc, with malossi multivar, kevlar belt and PM Tuning exhaust and stiffer clutch springs.
Faster than any 125!. economical, always starts although starter has packed in.
Added a wind screen to the bike adds another 5mph and added acceleration at higher speeds, no wind drag.

The bike being stolen once and hot wired (£££££ to get parts), but that was ok because i paid £1800 for the bike and got £1500 back from the insurance company and the bike as salvage so I bought loads of tuning parts and a shotgun for the garage.!

when i first turen 16 i made the big mistake of buying the first bike i saw which was a derbi preadtor (well that didnt last long , mor problems with it than i had hot dinners) eventually after chats with my parents i pursaded them to get me another bike due to college and work commenments , they brought me a 2nd hand peugeot speeedfight 2 liguid cool with just under 800 miles on it for £1000, this bike was brillent cruised at 45mph with ease hitiing 50 down hills . i didnt do any modifcations to this bike for bout 3-4 months then due to my mates tuning there bikes i thought ill do it too. i started off buying a sports exhurst leo vincie( i know i cant spell) and i also brought bigger jets for my carbutor so it wouldnt seized.
well...... had it upgrade for about 2-3 weeks comming back from a mates house going flat out the big just seized up on me, so there i was on the hard shoulder at about half 1 in the moring witha fcuked up ped. eventually after i had it checked out the mechanic said that the engnie just gave up with the constent strain which i had put it under and the bearing casing had collasped and many other minor engine problems . his advice was just get a 2nd engine. in the end i couldnt be arsed with it no more and ended up buying a gilera runner 125cc VX which so far has been brillent

Ive had a few accidents and it is costly to fix it, but overall a good bike. One problem is that it has been de-restricted and it only goes 42mph on a straight and 25mph up a hill, someone help with what exhausts and modifications to add to it please!!!!!!!

>> i had a speedfight 2 and speaking from expereance they r good fun, once u buy them u think that they are amazing, but then u realize that u wished u got a geared bike instead. but thery are the best scootor going. i got mine knicked and im gettin a mrx 125 in a week carnt wait. MY ADVICE IS THAT DONT RUSH INTO GETTING A SCOOTOR LOOK AT GEARED BIKES IN A 50 CC AND GET THAT DE-RESRICKTED MUCH BETTER OR JUST GET A 125 ;) l8rz

Hi,
I think the sppedfight 2 is a great bike. Superb ride!
I myself am a 16 year old, and ride a S/fight the only problem with it is the bloody restriction!! The law is stupid, i think all scooters should be allowed to go at there full pelt. Going too slow is not always the best policy. More accidents are caused by this.
If you are 16 and wish to de-restrict your moped then iam with you all the way! screw the law! Just stick to the road rules and you will be fine :-)

I have just turned 16 and i brought my speedfight 2 206 WRC a couple of days ago and i am loving it. It hasn't been de-restricted yet so it only does about 35 but the acceleration is amazing. It looks like a beast and is definatly one of the best looking peds around. The 1st owner said it has been very reliable and it still looks brand new even though it is a year old.The ped has a built in bo-lock which is hidden away under the back of the seat and has space for the helmet under the seat. It is very sporty and i would recomend the ped to anyone looking for a first bike.
