I have owned one of these (1996 model) for the last 4 years, and the only thing (apart from regular servicing) its needed as spares is a new battery, and tyres replacing.
Has been the most reliable, comfortable, well made car I have owned, and would definately buy another Audi.
Considering this is a heavy car, you would expect the 1600cc engine to have been severely underpowered, but this is just not the case, the engine is smooth, quiet, and refined!!

Feels very solid. Local garages are capable of maintaining service schedules without any problems. Performance is great for a 1600 in such a big car. Fuel consumption is also good.
