Have owned my Colt Equipe 1.1 for five years now. Great to drive around town and only complaint its a bit noisy on the motorway. At 70 I can back off the accelerator, on a flat bit, and it was doing 70MPH showing 7OMPG. Very economical car servicing can be expensive at dealers but independants have no trouble servicing them. Best bit about the Colt is you can completely remove the rear seats (2 mins tops) and stuff it with your kids stuff to take them to Uni.
Very nippy motor the 1.1, Good stoppers, plenty of room.
Drivers door pillars can hide hazards but you get used to this and compensate by moving your head.

VERY reliable.Very cheap to run(45-50mpg+) VERY EXPENSIVE PARTS!! Had lots of problems getting parts so had to buy from Mitsubishi(ouch). Very good round town.BUT worst car ever owne for driving in the country. The worst handling modern car I've owned.Not reccomended if you live in the sticks like me but great round town car.Insurance isn't vey cheap
