Bought this bike 3 years & 15000 kms ago as a "back to bikes" intro after 10 years off them.
It started life in Canada, imported to Holland around 8 years ago, then down here to Oman about 5 years ago by it's owner. I ride it most days, commuting the short hop to work and cruising around when the weather (too much heat is the problem here in thw summer!) & time permits.
For a 21 yr old bike it is low mileage (58000 kms) and very reliable - it has only broken down on me once in that time (a dead battery which is very common for all vehicles down here in the heat). Other repairs were replacing torn carb vacuum diaphragms, corroded/broken speedo cable, changing worn piston rings, and having to swap round the 1-way clutch slipper bearing which had been installed back to front (Clymer manual diagram is misleading on this). It goes alright, keeps up with motorway traffic, except for when the original carb diaphragms were torn because that made the engine flood! - pretty much the same a modern 750 cruisers.
Only gripes are that it is a little small for me (I'm 182 cms), and while basic parts (filter, plugs, etc) can be got from local dealer, other items I have to get posted down from UK as the bike was never imported by local Honda Dealer.
All in all, another fine example of a Honda that keeps on running.

It's the best bike I ever had. Great looking (nobody knows that this bike is 20 years old, the design is still in use actually). Never ever had a problem. I drove even in winter with -14 degrees Celsius, and it's very hard to start at that temperature (it took 20 seconds of continuous pushing the starter). It gives me 25km/litre normally. Extremely reliable, very cheap in gas, great looking. I'm extremely satisfied. I do 25000km/year in Calgary, Canada. Work done in 1.5 years: Sparks, tune up, oil and filter change (all this done by myself). If you are going to buy one, get the model with driveshaft (no chain that can be damaged, you never have to put oil on it). Don't forget to put a winshield. I had 4 motorcycles before this one, and I have been driving for the last 8 years.
