I just bought a 1974 la lancer 4 door with a 1800 in it. Its quite a tidy little car newish dark green paint job runs really good am hoping to do it up by putting a worked 2 letter in some sick looking mags racing seats and so on ........ i got a 82 ex lancer 1200cc had 2 replace the fuel pump its got cut springs and 14" wheels ,tints, ect other than that its a great car it aint to fast.. 150kph (its only a 1200 4 speed though)its in for a full respray and either a gsr cordia turbo engine or a 12a mazda rotary and sum phat 17"chromes and soundz
ITS CHASSIS IS GREAT AND THE PERFORMANCE OF THE ENGINE, KNOWING THAT IT IS ALREADY 22 YEARS OLD (I OWN A 1979 MITSUBISHI 2 DOOR LANCER), I CAN STILL RIDE OF UPTO 140KMH.

ive owned a lancer 1.5 lb coupe since 1986, in 1992 i got a reconditioned the engine and got a air conditioner, suspension and fixed the steering column. thats all i did and its still going today(2002) (obviously with maitenance. but if u ever see one of these rarities get it and have fun with it cos they are so fun (five speed 1.5 litre with a fair bit of power) to drive and they have heaps of potential! (my plans are a fuel injected 1.8, 2.25 exhaust pipe, extractors, genies, new 5 speed exhaust and wheels)

I HAVE A 1.2L LANCER 1979 AND ALTHOUGH IT'S 22 YEARS OLD AND I'VE BEING DRIVING IT FOR MORE THAN 390,000KM IT CAN STILL PUT UP WITH DISTANCES OF 350KM WITHOUT STOP AT A DESCENT SPEED. AWESOME PERFORMANCE, HIGLY RELIABLE!
