Bought ours 2 years ago, paid maybe a little too much, but it did come with more or less everything, oh its 1987, and paid £2500, but it really does need to be seen, inside like brand new!! former owers said they used it alot, all I can say is they must of had it valeted after every time.
What I like about it is its low lines, it measures 16', but it only needs a 14' awning, what with the awning rail so low, thats ok if you are not tall, which we're not, I see alot of modern vans and they seem to be getting higher and higher, some must be hell in the wind!!
Interior, like the lay out, but its a bit hard to get to the toilet with the end bed made up, think thats my only gripe with it inside, and outside I dont like the 240v inlet been mounted high up the side, really dont see the point of that!!
Tows very well, and is not too heavy, so long as I can convince the wife that we dont need to take the whole house!!, we pull with a 1800 Mondeo, which is OK but thats all I can say.
We must be very happy with this van, because if we do find ourselves at a dealers, we only ever look at other vans out of interest, no intention of getting rid of it

1st Van since moving on from tents. Heard great things about ABI vans and decided on a 1993 Abi Jubilee Ambassador from a local dealer, fully serviced and sold with 12 months silver warranty (for vans over 5 yrs) for the princely sum of £3250!!!!!
3 weekends away in just over a month of ownership!! Love every aspect of the van, beds easy to assemble/dis-assemble, loads of storeage, electrics / water / waste all easy to get a handle of. Bathroom is a little tricky to enter with end bed down but thats the only minor niggle we have found!! Love it love it love it and can't recommend highly enough - saw it as a first "tester" van - can't imagine getting rid now

Just bought a 1996 model and been away for the first time. This is the 5th van we have owned and by far the best. Towing is a dream and the only complaint we have is two of the taps keep dripping (whats wrong with em). Condition is as new and we believe we got a bargain at £4500 inc full awning. We cant help smirking every time we look at it..............Happy caravaning to you all.

I have just bought my 1990 model, first timer better not buy new, paid plenty for van but condition great. Agree with all everybody else have already said, rear double bed make it cramped to get to the Loo, but this is hardly the end of the world. Everyone one told me to test it, we went to Devon October 2002 Wife, 81 y.o. Dad & Great Dane. We met straight with the 80mph gales, van coped well, I am impulsive and instantly want better, what am I looking to improve on the van? not enough to justify changing it, an immersion water heater would be nice and going to fit a status aerial plus of coarse I need an awning to double the already plentiful size. All in all a first time buyer with strange needs could not have found a better van. Dont like the V roof, make the van look older but what the heck for a few grand.
