seriously fast fun cars, i own a gen 2 turbo 2 jap import, sick of garages and auto electricians taking on jobs they have no clue about , so from now on im doing all the work myself, be prepared to learn all about a rotary if you own a rx but the payoff is a unique fast car that everone respects , i have only had one police officer stop me and that was to ask what the hell it was,
gen 2's are cheap!!!!!seriously fast, seriously cool, get to say " wankel"
I have owned a 1994 RX7 R1 (uk model)for the last three years and it has been superb, no other car can offer the looks , performance and value for money the RX7 does, when I see cars advertised for sale at around £8-£10k I can't believe the amount of car that can be purchased for the same cost as a used ford focus ! My advice is buy one , you will love it.
I like something unusual so when I found a mk2 88 for sale at £200 with tax and mot I had to buy it(well it is black). I had an idea what the performance was like 'cause I had a xj12 that I owned and could not leave a mk1 behind down in the back roads of Bournemouth. The power for a small engine is brill so when I found another mk2 in Poole I bought that as well (well it is red). So far they have been excellent the only problem I have had is the black one's wiper mech wont switch off when I wash wipe, the advantage of having to being, dont take black one out if its gonna rain. Prefer the mk2 to the mk1 cause I think the shapes better but purists tell me the first ones quicker.
fantastic car to drive not very economical but who cares with performance like this a true sports car

the rx7 is the only choice if you want an affordable sports car under £5000 that hits 150 mph and turns heads just be prepared for the mechanics at every garage doing the obligatory head scratch when you raise the bonnet.
